Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1
User 1: This tablet is definitely better than an iPad 2 albeit it slightly. That said, it still has some setbacks for which it doesn’t get a five star rating from me — I’d give it a four star rating. This is the second unit I am buying, though (That should give you an idea of how highly I think of it). I think that the Motorola Xoom is a true rival to this but I think it’s down to personal preferences which one you pick eventually.
I love the freedom this gives you as to how you can work. That’s what I personally hate about the iPad 2. I believe you should decide how you intend to work. The Android Os works very well and is easy to personalize to your heart’s content. Another thing I noticed is that it has a much cleaner interface than the iPad 2.
If you look at its battery life when compared to the iPad 2, the Galaxy Tab has a slightly lower battery life. I think this might be because it has a slightly brighter screen. But when it comes to screen resolution, the Tab 10.1 beats the iPad easily. This is very important if you want better pictures and less eye strain while reading on it. Another thing about the Tab’s screen that I prefer is the superior viewing you get for anything HD.
The iPad’s cameras don’t even come close to those of the Tab 10.1. Although it is a close call when it comes to which is lighter, the Tab is also lighter as it is also thinner. But if you are looking for a product with a better visual appeal, the iPad 2 wins in this area.
I don’t consider this to be the product that will run out the iPad from the market. Those who have a loyalty to the brand will definitely go for it in spite of the better value on other brands but, that said, I think this tab would have been a lot better if it came at a lower price and had an SD slot among other minor issues I have learned to put up with. But there’s NO way I’ll NOT rate the Tab 10.1 highly. It’s outstanding and is good value. It is recommended by me.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Review
User 2: If you are looking for a tab that will really help you work better, this is it. I give it a five star rating because I consider it to be a real business tool among other things. It so fills my needs that I consider it a fair replacement to my laptop.
It is solid and feels good. It also looks good. If you are looking for thin and light, this is it. It handles tasks with ease. It is very responsive. It will handle apps without complaints and Youtube videos without stuttering.
If you have a Google account and previous Android device, you will discover that the Tab 10.1 will automatically sync, download and install them all as it did with almost all the apps on my smartphone. This is a time-saver.
I the space I have to store my files (By the way, I bought the 32gig version). The connectivity options are NOT good enough but I have NOT had any problems with those since it’s easy for you to move data through wifi. However, since Samsung will soon roll out adapters to give you more options, this should reduce this annoyance. This might be an issue for a lot of folks but I don’t have problems buying accessories that I deem needful to get the best from my devices.
If you have an Android smartphone, like I do, then you’ll be pleased with the results you get if you set your phone as the wifi hotspot and then connect the tab to it — It is simply wonderful.
The virtual keyboard is very good and quite large especially for those who have become used to those on phones. The battery life is pretty good. I have had up to 19 hours from it (With 20% juice left in it) while using it for regular stuff. I didn’t do only extremes (Youtubes/games only or just reading documents) within this period. It was a blend of them all. This should give you an idea of how well it works.
If you just want to watch photos, play songs and do minor stuff then there are a lot of tabs out there for you to choose from. However, if you are looking for a business tool (Something that will help you get more productive) while offering the opportunity to cool off when you need to (Play games; watch videos) then you should go for this tab. It is NOT perfect but it is good enough to get my five star rating. You won’t be disappointed if you buy it.

Samsung Galaxy 7.0″ Tab Protective Leather Easel Case — User Reviews
Before you buy the Samsung Galaxy 7.0″ Tab Protective Leather Easel Case, find out what current users think of it by reading the following reviews (For product description, specs, features and price, click any link within this post)…
User 1: This is a good case in my opinion. I like the exterior finish. The interior could have been better but it’s still ok. It doubles as a stand too if you want it. You can easily access ports and so on since they were careful to make out neatly cut out holes.
However, I don’t know if this is just my particular case, but they forgot to make an opening for the rear camera. This is a major setback but, since I can’t even think of the hassles of taking back something like this, I might make the whole for the rear camera myself.
User 2: This gets a five star rating from me because it’s definitely great protection for the price I bought it. This is in spite of the fact that I find the easel part unattractive (And might wear out the stitching on the side edges with time).
There are a number of things that are NOT perfectly placed but the good thing is that they do NOT make accessing buttons and ports difficult. One thing you’ll notice is that the lens camera doesn’t have a hole cut for it so you can’t use the rear camera without bringing it out of this case.
This case will definitely NOT slip out easily from my hands because the elastic band ensures a better grip. The interior is well done with a suede-like material into which the tab fits in snugly. This is a good product for the price since it doesn’t look cheap even if it doesn’t look top-of-the-world class.
User 3: This case is ok but there are much better ones out there for sure. I got mine when there was little or NO other options out there. I don’t like the fact that I need to push the tab back in just to ensure it’s secured, I find it very annoying that they didn’t make a hole for the rear camera and, even though it still holds the cover shut, the strap stretches out after just a short while. To end the whole story, I went for another case immediately I had the chance.

Samsung Galaxy Tab P1000 16GB Factory Unlocked GSM — User Reviews
Before you buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab P1000 16GB Factory Unlocked GSM, find out what current users have to say about it by reading these reviews (For product description, specs, features and price, click any link within this post)…
User 1: This is definitely the best of all the affordable tablets currently on the market. Here’s a summary of what I think about it (first the pros)…
*You get a well-built tablet that will hold its own anywhere any day. Mind you, the screen is made of Gorilla Glass — That means you get a top quality and abuse-resistant screen. It is also portable and light.
*Comes with a processor that is powerful enough to handle any 3D game I have run so far. Plays videos with ease even they are HD files.
*Delivers up to 7 hours battery life.
*The screen is as good as that of the iPad in my own estimation. It is bright and vibrant.
*You can easily move files to and from your other devices/computers thanks to the micro-sd slot.
*You are NOT condemned to buying service through any of the service providers. Want to use it as a wifi tablet only? No problem.
However, there are a couple of things I would have preferred different: It doesn’t come with an HDMI port but this shouldn’t be a problem for most people as they might never have need for it. The other issue is the fact that it doesn’t have a dual-core processor. This will deliver even much more power than it has presently.
But with all those said, I still consider this to be a well-built tablet that still measures up well even with the latest tabs out there. This gives a well-priced tab without sacrifice all the nice things we have come to expect from a device like this.

Samsung Galaxy Tab P1000 Review
User 3: I am in Sao Paulo, Brazil and it works very well. The OS is great and so also is the hardware. It works fast, it’s easy to use and is generally a great device. It gets a five star rating from me.

User 1: This gets very close to a five star rating from me because it’s simply an awesome device. It’s very light and portable plus the fact that it comes at a good price. I love the clarity of the screen. It’s quite amazing. I have NOT had any problems running any apps. They’ve all work very well.
But since this is supposed to be a review, I’d call your attention to a few things that you should be aware of: There’s no video chat for either Skype or Gtalk, it doesn’t charge when connected to a pc, Qik doesn’t work and you’ll see that some apps appear stretched. For me, these take quite a little from my overall rating — Let’s say I’d put it at around 4.5 out of 5.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 7-inch
User 2: This one gets a five star rating from me since it is a very useful device. Here’s a summary of what I have observed so far…
*It has done justice to every video file format I have downloaded so far including .mkv files that are more than 3GB. The very thing with it is that you get to watch it in original HD without need for conversion.
*Even if you have the wifi-only version, you still enjoy a GPS.
*You won’t have any problems with flash sites as it has full support for flash.
*You can get more storage since it has an SD card slot.
*You have a wide option for apps.
*Very portable. It can easily fit into your pocket.
*You can transfer files to and from a pc easily.
*You may notice a problem with the display of a few apps even though most of them work perfectly well.
*It doesn’t have a stand USB but comes with a proprietary connector.
How good is this tablet? I’d say very good. It’s so good that it has rendered my iPad slightly redundant. I am happy with my purchase.

Samsung Galaxy Tab Review
User 3: I think this tab is good for folks who just want the basic device. The battery life is good since it can last for a whole day even with serious use. It has a beautiful and nice screan, a nice touch response and an SD card. Just note that it comes with Android 2.2 two which is just ok for a tablet. Another issue related to the Android software is that it’s NOT as easy to use as an iPad, in my opinion.
I consider the browser to be ok, the weight is also ok. Here are other features that I consider ok: the camera, screen rotation and overall speed. You will also notice that some apps don’t fill up the screen since, I guess, they are actually made for phones.
I am definitely dissatisfied with the CPU, GPU and OS, isn’t on the same level with the 3G version, clunky email app, difficulty to delete installed apps (Which accesses the internet even if you don’t want it to — Looks creepy to me).
All in all, just good for the basic stuff. I don’t consider it to be a great device.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus — Extensive Review
User 1: Based on my use of this tab, I give it a five star rating for its quality, performance and all. However, for its price, I’d give it a a three star. I’ve just used it extensively for one day and here are my findings (I just don’t think the price is justified otherwise I would have given it an all-round five star rating)…
*Has a solid feel. Needless to say, it’s has an excellent build quality.
*It can easily fit into your pocket — It’s that portable.
*It doesn’t have much in the manual so don’t expect to learn a lot from it.
*It has excellent resolution and the screen quality is top-class.
*I think the auto-brightness made things dark in my opinion but you can fix this by setting the brightness to about 60%.
*Has good battery life. For light use, expect more than a day’s worth. However, if you are going to do intensive stuff like watching Netflix, expect it to last for about 5 hours.
*GPS and Google Maps work very well — All it took was just a few minutes to get sat lock.
*The camera is ok for a cellphone. It’s nowhere near what you’d get from a dedicated camera of even medium class like the Panasonic Lumix.
*The touchscreen is very responsive.
*Works great with most of the apps downloaded.
There are a few things here and there that I can’t really speak about categorically since I’ve NOT used it for long. However, if you are in the look out for a pocketable tab that comes loaded with features, this one would NOT disappoint you. I recommend it.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus
User 2: I give this a five star rating simply because I consider it the best 7-inch tab out there. I have used four tablets so far ranging for the original iPad to this one. So you can see that I know a thing or two about these devices.
I have waited for long to lay my hands on a tab that has the right features until now. Some of the ones I tried or considered earlier were either too heavy (Weight is a real issue for me) or lacking in features, display or had some other serious issues that couldn’t be ignored. This one just does it for me. Yes, you can find cheaper tablets but I doubt there is one out there at the moment that delivers better value-to-price ratio for me.
I am NOT particularly thrilled by the OS or user interface. A lot of things have been rearranged so I can’t really say if they are better or I am just resisting the change. Even if I have issues with the Honeycomb 3.2, I certainly can’t take it out on Samsung since it’s NOT their fault. That said, we’d have to see how things work out in order to determine if the changes were better or even worth it.
There are a lot of things to be discovered about this tab since it’s NOT been long in the market and I have NOT used it for long either. But my impressions for now are quite good. Based on my experience so far, it gets a five star rating (Yes, after comparing it with previous tabs I’ve used too). It comes recommended by me.
